GENERAL PROVISIONS.
A cookie is a text file stored on the User’s device when accessing the website “myspecialdoctor.it” and the applications called “My Special Doctor,” hereinafter referred to as “Platforms.” The text stores useful information that allows the Platforms to recognize the device with which the User accesses.
In general, cookies serve two main functions: a) they help navigate through the various pages of the Platforms more efficiently; b) they store preferences and generally improve the browsing experience.
In some cases, cookies allow promotions that may interest the User to be shown. ARTICLE 1. Specific Purposes and Security.
MSD uses cookies to display ads and present suggestions to Users that may be interested in third-party products and/or services.
MSD also uses cookies to measure the performance of third-party advertising campaigns that use MSD’s services.
Cookies allow ads to be displayed and measured across different browsers and devices used by the same person.
Cookies also provide statistical data about the people using MSD’s services, Users interacting with third-party ads, websites, and applications.
MSD uses cookies to better understand how Users use MSD’s services to improve them.
MSD uses cookies to verify the User’s account and determine when they logged in, simplifying access to the Platforms. This way, the User’s data is more secure.

ARTICLE 2. Storage Time.
The storage period of a cookie on a computer or mobile device varies depending on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. First-party cookies are cookies that belong to MSD. Third-party cookies are cookies stored on the User’s device by parties other than MSD through the Platforms and MSD’s services. To provide greater control to the User, MSD offers a cookie consent tool, hereinafter referred to as the “Cookie Consent Tool,” which allows the User to review both first-party and third-party cookies inserted through the Platforms and adjust cookie settings, including accepting or rejecting such cookies.
The User can access the Cookie Consent Tool by visiting the dedicated section within the Platforms. Additionally, the User can manage cookies through their browser settings.
The User can set the browser to receive a notification for each new cookie received or to delete individual cookies or all cookies.
Most advertising networks allow the deactivation of advertising cookies.
ARTICLE 6. Changes to the Policy and Notifications.
MSD reserves the right to update the Cookie Policy in the future. If significant changes are made, MSD will communicate them through a notice on the Platforms and/or the publication of an updated Cookie Policy. MSD encourages the User to check the most recent version and periodically review this Cookie Policy.
