Come si forma il cancro

Cause e fattori di rischio
Il fumo di sigaretta è la principale causa di cancro ai polmoni. Si ha un rischio maggiore di cancro ai polmoni se si fuma o se si è esposti al fumo passivo. Si ha un rischio maggiore anche se si è stati esposti a tossine come il gas radon o le fibre di amianto , o ancora se si ha una storia familiare di cancro ai polmoni.
Sintomi
Durante le prime fasi del cancro ai polmoni è possibile non notare alcun sintomo , ma man mano che il cancro progredisce, si può avere tosse cronica e mancanza di respiro, o anche ansimare ed avere una voce rauca. Possono anche comparire dolori al petto o in altre parti del corpo. Potrebbe verificarsi una perdita di peso inaspettata ed avere colpi tosse con perdita di sangue.
Trattamento
