Nata a Bologna il 5 maggio 1972, ho vissuto i primi vent'anni della mia vita a Forlì dove ho conseguito la maturità scientifica nel 1991. Nel 1997 mi sono laureata in Medicina e Chirurgia c/o l'Università degli Studi di Bologna dove, nel 2003, ho poi conseguito la specializzazione in Chirurgia Generale. Sono anche Dottore di Ricerca in Chirurgia Oncologica dell'Apparato Digerente.
