Dopo la Laurea e il conseguimento della Specializzazione in Endocrinologia, dal 1979 ha prestato servizio presso l'Ospedale "Regina Apostolorum" di Albano Laziale (Roma) in qualità di Dirigente Medico e Responsabile dell’Ambulatorio di Endocrinologia della Divisione di Medicina Interna e successivamente della Unità Operativa Complessa di Endocrinologia e Diabetologia.
