Nel 1996 si iscrive al Corso di Laurea in Medica e Chirurgia dell'Università di Trieste. Fin dal 1998, durante il corso di Laurea frequenta il reparto di Chirurgia Generale dell'Ospedale di Cattinara a Trieste. Dal 2000 si appassiona all'Urologia e frequenta attivamente il reparto e la sala operatoria.
