Rocco Erra intraprende gli studi di Gnatologia e Disturbi istruttivi in sonno, diventando un esperto accreditato da Masters universitari della Federico II (Napoli) e Sant' Orsola Malpighi (Bologna). Dal 2018 fa parte del comitato tecnico scientifico del KICollage, un' associazione di ricerca per i disturbi mandibolari correlati alla colonna vertebrale.
