Attualmente è Direttore dell'UO di Cardiologia dell'IRCCS MultiMedica (Sesto San Giovanni, Milano). Direttore del Dipartimento di Cardioangiologia Riabilitativa dell'IRCCS Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri dal 2016 al gennaio 2020, ha ricoperto il ruolo di Direttore delle UU.OO di Cardiologia Riabilitativa degli Istituti Scientifici di Pavia (2018-2020) e di Tradate (VA) dell'IRCCS Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri. Negli anni 1995 e 1996 ha svolto attività di ricerca in qualità di Visiting Researcher presso la University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, OK, USA.
