Dopo la laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia conseguita nel 2006, mi sono specializzato in Oftalmologia (Oculistica) nel 2011 a Palermo. Come medico chirurgo specializzato in Oculistica, ho scelto come principale campo assistenziale e di ricerca la Chirurgia dell'occhio, in particolare la Chirurgia della Cataratta e delle patologie della Retina e del Vitreo. Ho anche conseguito un Dottorato di Ricerca nel 2015 presso l'Università degli Studi di Palermo con una tesi riguardante i cristallini artificiali multifocali.
