Diarrhea

diarrea-e1529575908317

Diarrhea is a defecation disorder characterized by increased emission of a daily amount of stool greater than 200 g with decreased stool consistency and increased frequency of bowel discharge.

In most cases it does not last more than a couple of days, but if it persists for weeks it may indicate a serious disorder, such as a persistent infection, inflammatory bowel disease, or irritable bowel syndrome.
