IL MATTINO – Agreement between Henan University and the Neapolitan platform myspecialdoctor.it

Naples and China are getting closer: this time thanks to traditional Oriental medicine meeting Western medicine. On Wednesday, November 27, an agreement was signed linking the digital platform www.myspecialdoctor.it with the Henan University, establishing a partnership that includes a section dedicated to traditional Chinese medicine and resource exchanges hosted on the MySpecialDoctor platform, which was created in Naples and conceived by Luigi Martinucci, Giulio Mancino, and Massimiliano Ascolillo. The platform has already formed a partnership with the Federico II University on the topic of “risk management in medical practice” and is developing collaborations with healthcare institutions in Campania and the rest of Italy.

The collaboration was formalized and celebrated with a ceremony held in Naples, at the representative office of Henan University, during which representatives of the Italian digital platform MySpecialDoctor met with officials from the Chinese university and signed the partnership with a handshake captured on video and an online connection. Present at the signing were Zhu Jianfei, director of the International Cooperation Division and dean of the School of International Education at Henan University of Traditional Medicine, doctors Kong Shenyan, Manuela Papaccio, and Ennio Del Giudice, and Martinucci, editorial director of MySpecialDoctor.

The collaboration between the two universities includes several activities, from hosting Chinese doctors on the digital platform to enable exchanges and discussions with Italian healthcare professionals, to offering scientific services and contributing to the organization of a program of bilateral medical-scientific events (starting in April 2025), which will feature specialists from the Federico II University Hospital and possibly from other European and Chinese universities.

The agreement, already available online in Italian and English on www.myspecialdoctor.it, also includes the creation of a Chinese version of the portal, a continuous exchange of content, educational video updates, and patient empowerment pathways, as well as a health literacy project that the respective parties intend to pursue internationally.
