The jet lag (English term, literally “jet delay”; often referred to as meltdown) o dysrhythmia, dyschrony or even dysynchronosis circadian, is a clinical condition that occurs when crossing several time zones (usually more than two time zones), as is the case with a long plane ride. Causes drowsiness, fatigue, confusion and less frequently migraine. The phenomenon occurs due to the alteration of normal circadian rhythms.
