Heartburn (heartburn) a medical condition that can be very uncomfortable and disabling, the sensation underlying the disorder is usually a burning sensation most often felt at the base of the sternum that often travels to the esophagus and pharynx.
Very often heartburn is associated with reflux of gastric juice.
Symptoms that occur along with heartburn are:
- recurrent pneumonias
- asthma
- difficulty or pain during swallowing
- dental erosion
- nausea
- problems and perceived discomfort in the throat
- wheeze
- dry, persistent cough
- vomiting.
