Abdominal injuries have two aspects: those that can be seen and those that cannot be seen. If it is a closed abdominal injury place the victim on the left side and do not offer any food or drink.
If it is a penetrating wound , it is necessary to block the object and control the bleeding. The object should not be removed, and a voluminous dressing should be wrapped around it.
In case of organ protrusion , organ reinsertion is not possible, as this maneuver could cause infection. It is necessary to cover the organs with a sterile dressing. Pour drinking water over the dressing to protect the protruded organ from drying out.
