We can say that Metabolism is the way our body processes food by turning it into energy.
However, if our body consumes few calories during rest or during sleep, genes could probably be responsible for this slowdown.
So what ?
Since we cannot act on our genetic makeup and change it , it is convenient to focus our attention on reviewing the habits and type of life we lead. There are many ways to stimulate metabolism, but surely the most effective one is to practice daily physical activity, adopting it as a preventive measure but also as a lifestyle habit.
