The shoulder is the joint of the body most prone to possible dislocation, that is, an injury in which the arm bone, held in a structure called the “cuff” that is part of the scapula.
Usually people who have incurred this type of injury regain full recovery of the shoulder with its functions in a few weeks, but it should be kept in mind that, following a dislocation, the shoulder joint may prove to be weakened and prone to a possible further dislocation.
