Nasal polyposis

Nasal polyps are soft, painless, noncancerous growths that form on the lining of the nasal cavity or paranasal sinuses and as, they increase in volume, can cause respiratory obstruction.

They result from chronic inflammation due to asthma, recurrent infections, allergies, drug sensitivity or certain immune disorders.

This is a fairly common disease that can affect anyone, but it is more common in male adults.
