The term rhinitis indicates a general irritation and inflammation of the nasal mucosa.
There are three main types of rhinitis: infectious rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and non-allergic rhinitis (or vasomotor rhinitis).
Infectious rhinitis arises as a result of a viral or bacterial disease; the allergic form, on the other hand, appears as a result of an allergy to substances such as dust, pollen, animal hair or the so-called Balsam of Peru; finally, non-allergic rhinitis is the result of abnormal dilation of the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa.
Sports disciplines and the risk of shoulder dislocation
The shoulder joint is a mechanism that can provide movement in multiple directions, but precisely because of the versatility of the structure in excursion and mobility, the shoulder also presents an aspect of fragility, being exposed to a continuous risk of injury or dislocation.
