The term rhinitis indicates a general irritation and inflammation of the nasal mucosa.
There are three main types of rhinitis: infectious rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and non-allergic rhinitis (or vasomotor rhinitis).
Infectious rhinitis arises as a result of a viral or bacterial disease; the allergic form, on the other hand, appears as a result of an allergy to substances such as dust, pollen, animal hair or the so-called Balsam of Peru; finally, non-allergic rhinitis is the result of abnormal dilation of the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa.
Drug abuse
Abuse can involve both medicinal and nonmedicinal substances that affect organ functions. Drugs are classified according to their effect: stimulants, sedatives, and hallucinogens. What to do? Check vital signs. Call
